My family would divorce me if I did this!!! As it is, I probably ride 30-40
per week in training and use 50s to condition for 100s. (Only usually one 50
and one CTR a month prior to Tevis). I'm sure not an expert, and my motto is
definitely "To Finish Is to Win" (thinking of having it tattooed on an
appropriate part of my anatomy -- if you get my drift). Seriously, Tom, are
you recommending that kind of mileage for the "winners"? Sounds like it
would take TWO horses to make it through a ride season at that rate!
