motto for OUR sport.>
I had my first thousand miles before you were born--Morgans--and another
100,000 sitting behind Standarbreds every day, 8-10 per day, for five years.
Again, before you ever put a foot in a stirrup. While my body has been used
hard and put up wet for a little too long, my mind still functions well
enough to sort bullshit from reality.
>You comments while knowledgeable I always regard as stilted as you don't do
what we do, you come biased from a different sport.>
I come "biased" from 30 or 40 sports. My definition of "bias" is non-thinking
tunnel vision--one religion or another. I have no religion. But if someone
wants to argue with me on a specific subject, as in the case of the fixation
with the horrors of carbohydrate, then I'm happy to play, right down to the
wire.
>I have never flamed you, even when you have said some very inflammatory
things to this list.>
Happy to have stirred you from your slumber.
> This last comment I feel was completely uncalled for,
and I for one will simply delete anything further you have to say. You
opinion no longer holds any interest to me>
Since I have seen no opinions, or thoughts, from you on the subjects being
discussed, I'm sorry that I can't reciprocate. Do you have anything useful to
contribute on these subjects? Or are you simply content with the occasional
statement of moral indignation and self-righteous outrage?
>I also feel you owe this list an apology.>
That'll be the day.
