Re: Trailer Problems Solved (Almost)
I had the same problem. I solved it with ground work
first (John Lyons' WESN). Get the Lyons"Leading and
Loading" VCR Tape.
The idea is that once you can move him around on the ground
and establish yourself ABOVE him in the pecking order, you
can put him anywhere!
Two years ago my Arab was a wreck to load. Now he walks
on by me and stands quietly while I close the butt chain! He
was uncomfortable (Claustrophobic?) in the Quarterhorse size
trailer. I *THINK* a bee stung him the first time I loaded him.
I got the larger "Thorobred" size and that made a BIG difference.
