I'd suggest slicing the bread, apply a little butter and garlic and toast
briefly under the broiler. Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping
and a nice Chianti or possibly Sangiovese.

I'm feeding my boss's horses, while he is on safari. Not endurance horses.
They do some trail, hunting, real light work. No work right now.
Had a call from a friend of his, saying she had French bread to give to the
horses. Apparently this is routine between them.
I haven't a clue.
How do you feed French bread to a horse??? And, do you think it's okay?
Any ramifications?
She left a lot of bread. Help!
