I'm feeding my boss's horses, while he is on safari. Not endurance horses.
They do some trail, hunting, real light work. No work right now.
Had a call from a friend of his, saying she had French bread to give to the
horses. Apparently this is routine between them.
I haven't a clue.
How do you feed French bread to a horse??? And, do you think it's okay?
Any ramifications?
She left a lot of bread. Help!

I have at least two clients who feed day-old bread instead of grain. The
horses appear to thrive on it--you just empty a loaf onto the ground or into
the feed bucket. The horse knows what to do.
