Re: trucks
Not to be off-topic, but:
I'll second the info on the Fords...I've owned a 1990 F250 4X4 stick...best
truck I've ever owned. It would tow nicely (I even towed above the
specified limit with it) and got what I considered *great* mileage. 14-16
empty...and 10-12 towing. Plus when I sold it I got great resale on it! I
also had a 1994 F350 crew cab dually 4X2. Although I would have rather had
4X4, the truck pulled like a dream. We towed a rather heavy camper all
through the Rockies a couple of years ago and never even *felt* it back
there. It was an automatic, where I prefer a stick...The F250 has much
better 'pick-up' on the highway...whereas the F350 has a better 'low-end'
for towing. Take your pick! Good Luck!
