References
For Michelle and Other interested persons, good references include:
Lon Lewis's 1996 Feeding and Care of the horse SECOND edition (Tom I think
has only the first one from his quotes), Williams and Wilkins. It's a LARGE
paper back and essentially the same as his "Equine Clinical Nutrition"
book, published the same year by the same publishers in hardback. The
hardback version has extensive reference listings, the soft cover does not
but has the same basic text. So Tom, you should buy the hardcover...
World Equine Health Network, run by Kentucky Equine Research also has
abstracts and references for virtually all of the equine nutrition research
published to date. It costs money to join but is a vaulable resource.
Contact them at: info@wehn.com. Also lots of good reviews/info at www.ker.com
