feed and supplement questions
The rain is keeping me in today and I'm thinking about when the new
place is finished and my horses are with me, and I finally have full
control of what I feed to them!!
Scarlet got thumps recently. What are the best places to buy
electrolytes and calcium supplements to make sure this doesn't repeat?
Are there good mail order?
Two of the horses have been on Strategy, they have looked very good on
it and I'm considering putting my whole herd on it. Pasture is not
great, native grasses that handle grazing pretty well, but we'll be
feeding coastal hay(a grass hay) to them as well.
So I am seeking advice, on feeding, supplementing, and in general,
trying to get input as I make my choices on how I want to run the
feeding of the horses on my own place.
