Generally, a ride manager would not mark a trail through a known bog,
because of the danger of horses and/or rider injuries. Also, because you
want riders to come back next year.
Many times there are situations beyond our control such as a rain storm the
previous night. Also, it is difficult to judge how a trail will handle the
traffic unless you have used that particular trail for several years under
different weather conditions.
