Older Horses Teeth
Yes, please only get your horses teeth floated
once every two years. Especially when they are older. You could do
more damage than it is worth.
We have found that Copra Cake Meal is a great
feed for older horses. Copra is a coconut meal that you feed wet, it will expand
upto two-thirds it's size. It doesn't go through them like brans do or
pollard. It keeps the weight on them, gives them a great shine because of
the coconut oil and is easy on their teeth. All of you that have horses
that fizz up, this feed will stop that.
