hematoma

Anybody had experience with a hematoma on the jugular vein?  We think Sun
might have been kicked.  The swelling is fairly prominent about 6" long and
ends about 6" from where the neck joins the chest.  He's in a fierce mood,
but still eating and moving his neck normally.
