The stories about horses sticking their necks through gates and fence lines 
reminds me about a neighbor's horrible experience. A yearling stuck it's head 
through an upper rail of pipe fencing and then hooked his jaw around a lower 
rail. They found him hanging there, dead. They had to saw off his jaw to 
remove the body. That story has always made me worry about pipe rail that is 
spaced far enough apart for this to happen.
