Yup! Llamas are the trendy pet to own here in the Santa Ynez Valley (thank
God the ostrich craze has died down!). I've found the best thing to do is to
get off (fast) and lead the horse over for a little introduction. Harca
ended up licking the face of one llama. When I introduced Star to them
though, one of the llamas looked like he was going to spit (Star seems to
have that effect on other animals :( ) So, we got outta there pretty quick.
Now the only problem we have with llamas is that the horses think they get
to stop for a visit every time we pass the llama field.
