We had a similar experience when we moved to suburbia from the ranch. We
were used to horses that were used to cows but terrified of motorcycles. Our
"city foals" grew up right next door to a family of boys with dirt
bikes--when my dad first started his gelding raised there, he was amazed at
how calm this colt was about motorcycles, but got dumped a couple of times
when he whirled and split when we encountered cows on training rides! He was
just an Urban Horse...
