I want to thank all the members of AERC who voted on the issue of the
Bylaw Amendment.  This was the largest voter turnout I can remember with
2,364 members voting.  I had asked for a clear message from the
membership on this controversial issue.  You far exceeded the message
being clear..you made it an unquestionable mandate!!   You want Limited
Distance to be defined as 25 to 35 miles.  2,068 to change it back to its
original intent of  25 to 25 miles and 296 to keep it 0 to 49. 

For those of you who have thought about joining AERC, I am happy to
announce that Sundowner Trailers, Inc has agreed to continue it's 25%
Discount of your initial membership dues.  This discount is for those who
have not been a member since 1995 (that obviously includes people who
have never been a member).  Don't' miss out on joining AERC at the
beginning of our ride season.
