My experience has been they will stand with it for a limited amount of time
then explode in anger.The even worse part to this is the way its made you
can't get the tension off till the horse finally lets you get close.Myself I
would not use one.Have you ever tried an ear twitch I hear they work very
good on a mule ? Also the method I use alot on problem horses is a gum
chain.It works off of the same principles as a stabilizer but you can ease
off when its being good and if it pitches a real fit you can get it off
before it hurts itself or someone.Just my thoughts ! RD
