Glad to see these mentioned.  I had posted privately to Cindy about them, but
wanted to put in a good word as well.  And not just because the vet (author) and
illustrater are friends of mine.  A couple horses from out barn are in there.
The 2nd volume features akela's teeth (12 yrs old at the time).  Not much of a
claim to fame, but oh well!  Great books anyway.  I've learned a lot from Ron
Riegel.
