2001 Ride & Tie

On the 2001 XP from St. Jo...MO to Sacramento, the 2001 mile oddessy
that at least 80 of us are making, there is also slots for those that
wish to do the distance in a Ride & Tie fashion. Individual days are
available and weeks too.

Just pick your days number 1 - 40. As you may all remember this is 40
days of 50 miles each going across the half of the U.S. The cost to ride
& tie any of the days in $25 per person (you provide the horse and
teammate).

Some of the first teams have already signed up. At the Silver State
multi-day ride this last weekend, Robert Ribley and Frank Smith both
took the last 200 miles of the trek, from Sacramento to ????, were ever
200 mile (4 days) stretches??  We guess about Virginia City...

Robert Ribley you all should know as he has about the 5th most
individual miles in the nation? And Frank Smith has consistently ridden
his mule Little Buckaroo into top ten at Tevis twice in three
completion's in the last three years.

We are getting many requests about the 2001 ride and space available to
do it in the ride and tie fashion. Contact me if you are interested too.
