Horse in need of Immediate Home

This is my first horse, and he was rescue, so it breaks my heart to have to 
sell him.  An excellent home is a must.

10 year old bay arab gelding (no white).  He stands approximately 15.2 hands. 
 He has competed in several CTRs, and LD rides...has not done a 50 mile 
competition, but has done 50 mile leisure rides.  He's got a trot that he can 
hold all day...and he loves to go.  Very friendly, is great in a herd or by 
himself.  Loves kids....but does need someone who has confidence in riding, 
because he prefers to trot/canter to anything.

His biggest fault is that he can be hard to catch.  It's usually only for me, 
but once you get him, he's fine.  He loads, leads, clips, ties...does it all. 
 He takes excellent care of his rider.  He does not like ring work...he gets 
bored easily.  I don't have an online picture yet because my scanner is not 
working, but will have one soon.  He does need to be sold immediately due to 
serious financial conditions.

I'm asking $2000 for him....but if you are the right person for him, I will 
negotiate.  Finding someone to love him and take care of him is my first 
priority.
