Missouri Fox Trotters

Question:  Has anyone out there ever used a Missouri Fox Trotter (MFT) on any Rides?

I hear that they have great endurance, a quick, smooth trot...but some say that they are not very fast.

Please respond if you know of anything!  Thanks!
