RE: Equine Veterninary Reference Book
Thanks, Sue, for responding. That's the kind of book(s) I'm looking for.
When I searched Amazon and B&N, I got a not found, so I'll have to check
with a couple of upscale tack shops in the area.

p.s. Tried to send this directly to you, Sue, but it bounced back as
undeliverable.

Check out the Illustrated Atlas of Clinical Equine Anatomy and Common
Disorders of the Horse. It's a two volume series -- volume one deals with
the musculoskeletal system and lameness disorders, volume two deals with
reproduction, internal medicine and skin. They are awesome books with
great illustrations! I don't own them (yet!) but I look at them whenever
I'm in a tack shop...they are some of the best I've seen. They're not
cheap (which is why I don't own them (yet <g>)) -- I think they run about
$80 each. I'm a real bibliophile (have over 200 books on horses) and have
been coveting these for quite a while. Hmmm...maybe Santa will bring
them....<g>
