separation anxiety

Hi there folks here is a good one for you.I have just finished riding tonite
and my Hubbys mare is acting all bent out of shape over her pasture buddy
not being in her site. She is 9yrs old kinda a have been through many hands
so lord knows how she is really trained. If the buddy is not in site she
throws a fit that gets so bad I can't saddle or work her with out her
whinnying or pacing at the end of her rope. She is like a mare with a foal.
So we figured that she is being protective even tho' pasture buddy is the
alpha mare. She really gives my hubby (greenhorne) a hard time after I have
worked her for about 20 min. (she is an angel with me.) So is it me, her,
hubby or what?? yeah I am kinda nutty for putting hubby on her but he is
learning. when she warms up she is great ride. I realize that huby is
eventually goiung to have to learn to quit letting her Buffalo him, he is
learning that. (hee hee female bossing him) When we got out of the arena and
on the trail she was great leading trail and all. no acting up or anything.
AMOF she was great compared to my new horse Ansata who is more controlable
than Haley.
Carla (stumped)
Ansata (EEEEEEEKKKKKK pasture boooogers!!!)
Haley (WHERES MY BUDDY!!!!)
Rob (what happened to the perfect angels we purchased?)
