Equine Veterninary Reference Book

The boarders at the small, family-operated farm where I keep my gelding
usually go together to buy a holiday gift for the farm owners.  This year
we'd like to give them an up-to-date equine veterinary reference book.
We're looking for a serious reference book, not a first aid type of manual.
Any suggestions?
