Not much better further north...everything here is *very* soggy! Thank
heaven for a covered area to ride -- however, I did go out last Saturday
for 3 hours in the heavy rain...couldn't stand it after having spent nearly
a full week in either a hotel or an airplane and headed out with Catherine
for a wet ride at the Tree Farm. We had a blast!! Blaze was so excited to
get out that I had to endure several minutes of piaffe-ing in a circle
before he settled down. We dressed *warm and waterproof* and, other than
my hands being a little cold at the end (the new "waterproof" polarfleece
gloves were only water-resistant and were pretty soaked after 3 hours,) we
stayed pretty comfortable. I still wish someone would invent little wipers
for my glasses however!!

And no big surprise but we were the only rig in the parking lot! ;-) I'm
heading out again on Saturday, rain or shine...so if there's anyone in the
area equally as insane, please come join us! (Wearing the neoprene gloves
this time! ;-))
