It should be in the Ridecamp archives last summer (july or August), but I
think this is it: http://www.snugglewool.com/
They don't list the raw fabric on their website, but if you send 'em an
email, you can get current pricing on the fabric alone. I ordered some
last summer ('98) and made two pads for Lakota, which I've used nearly
every day since. I wash 'em in the washer about once a month, gentle
cycle with little or no soap (and a second full cycle of water-only
washing, if I used soap the first time), lay on a rack to dry, and they
are still in excellent shape.
I've also heard only good things about the Toklat pads, but they come only
in boring ivory/white. :( Lakota's pads are wool fleece on the bottom and
bright yellow Polartec on the top, with orange trim -- quite smashing!
