Leading and pulling backk
Hi,
We bought three horses last fall who had all been taught to lead
by a donkey. They are the best and easiest horses to lead I have
ever seen. one of them is very spooky and when being led or tied
up if spooked this horse will go flying back, but when he hits
the end of the rope, he will come flying forward just as fast.
None of these three will lean back on a rope even for a second.
Makes it nice for trailer loading, because they will not lean
back on the rope, they will go right in even if they don't want
to. WHY? Because when they were tied to the donkey, if they
leaned back, the donkey would kick the #@$* out of them. They
learn real fast not to lean back on the rope, ever!
