Kansas is much flatter along with eastern Colorado. There were some very,
very steep and deep dunes at the Pan Am course. People were suprised at the
the short climbs you had to do cause thoght it was a flat ride. I know when
I rode it in 98 I was suprised. I ride in the Colorado Rockies and of course
it would be considered flat if you compare it to Tevis or the Rockies, but
compared to other flat rides that I have ridden, it is not flat. I've also
ridden Cosequin Challenge, now that is a ride that is considerably more
challenging than Tevis. I ride in the NM deserts, now those are flat rides.
Getting ready to go to another very flat ride in southern NM and I will have
fun. Even though it is flat is does offer challenges. Like no grass on the
trail.........
Everyone have a good weekend.
