I was using a string & then measuring that against marks on on an
envelope. In the email message to the original woman I told her to
figure 1/4" plus or minus. I don't have any soft measuring tapes, just
metal, so the string seemed to be the way to go. I'm not sure how
important cannon size is, anyway - smaller but denser bones seem to me
to be better than bigger, less dense ones. And of course, what good is
a big cannon measurement if it represents measurement of the top of a
tied-in tendon, or a swollen tendon? I think for the numbers to be
meaningful, one would have to measure just below the knee and also just
above the fetlock. If *those* are the same, then that would mean
something.
I measured Nasrif's and Koko's 5 times to be sure. Each time I did get
some variation, so I averaged the number. People have always commented
on the size of Nas' legs. Lif
