Boy, you hit the nail on the head there!  With really subtle problems, often 
it is difficult to impossible to get a diagnosis by just turning the horse 
out.  And sometimes rest doesn't fix it--the horse just comes back and has 
the same problem.  I'm ALWAYS happy to see folks who make an effort to 
accurately work up a problem, even if that means working through it for 
awhile to get it diagnosed right.
