Re: An idea for LD rides
In reality, even those of us using LD as training rides...part of training
is to teach your horse how to react or not react in an endurance ride
situation. All of those things that happen to us with our horse, at home
or on the endurance trail, are training for next time and hopefully we
handle ourselves and our horses in a positive way that will pave the way
for more positive experiences when the horse does 50. No excuse for bad
manners but "stuff" happens and hopefully, it teaches us to expect the
unexpected.
