RE; how to clean Nylon lead ropes
my laundry advice would be to put the things in a mesh bag first to keep
your washer from getting all beaten up (but all of us usually take our dirty
horse laundry to the laundrmat)
If you want to keep the color mix about 1/3 cup of vinegar to keep colors
from fading and running. clean in cold water and add some fabric sofener.
Those downy balls are AWESOME!! when they come out of the wash hang them up
to dry if you have a hot dryer it could melt them or get caught and cause a
fire. when they dry out to get the stiffness out coil them up a couple of
times and ALL done. purdy somewhat new lead ropes and halters! also for some
added help use some scotchgaurd. it will help with the dirt and help the
halters and lead ropes from getting all soggy if they encounter a brief
wetting.
Carla (the martha stewart of stables)
Baru (oh mother did you clean my red blanket? I have a ride to go on)
Haley (ohhh my pretty halter is clean!)
Rob (how is it you can get horse laundry done but not human?)
