Some told me once to wash nylon halters, etc. in soap and water with a 
little fabric softener in it (or in the rinse water - I can't remember 
which).  I was going to try it, as my nylon halter has never had an official 
bath of its own, and really needs one.  Has anyone heard of doing this?  
(Would have to be thoroughly rinsed, of course.)
