Singing while riding

Hi Guys.

About singing while riding;

We have bears in our area ( No, I don't want to go anywhere with that!) and 
my son Mark, who once in a blue moon rides with me, just to "see Mom", was 
out with a friend of mine and I, riding. He of course, was worried about 
bears, since we didn't have our bells on, so my buddy, Arne, starts singing 
"El Paso". You know, the Marty Robbins song.  I was grinning like an idiot, 
thinking Arne was a pretty good singer, when Mark trots by me, and asks " 
Mom, is it the noise that keeps the bears away, or just really bad singing?"

We sing all sorts of stuff on the trail,  you know, Christmas carols, 
commercial dittys, theme songs to old TV shows (Brady Bunch is real 
popular....everyone knows the words)  and anything else that comes to mind.

I used to ride with a gal who whistled...Badly!  I would spend many minutes 
trotting down the trail, trying  like crazy to figure out what she was 
whistling!  She butchered even the most recognizable songs!  : )  Thank God 
she didn't sing!  LOL

So, everyone get out on those trails, and sing!  Besides, this time of year, 
you CAN sing Christmas carols!
