I hope your study at CSU is going well.
In John Lyons Perfect Horse this issue (Nov) there is a letter mentioning 
contracting "mad cow disease" from animal fats used in horse feeds.  I don't 
believe this but wondered what you think?  They also mention that horses 
can't process animal fats.  Is there any truth to any of this?  Lovell PS it 
was a really hard year on good hay.
