Does Not Lie Down
I have also heard that horses need to lie down to get rapid eye
movement (REM) sleep. If I recall correctly, I heard it at a seminar
I attended given by the Cornell Vet School. The speaker was
Katherine Houpt, the famous animal behaviorist/psychologist.
