sidepulls. The one I like best is some old cheap leather thing with a
rawhide double nose. The newest one I didn't like (from an endurance
catalog) because they kept getting in my horses' eyes! I finally figured
out it did not have that extra piece under the jowl..look for one under the chin
AND under the jowl (NOT the throatlatch) or it will slip side to side and get in
their eyes!<�/FONT><�/DIV>
<�DIV><�FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2>Sidepulls vary in control to nothing
more than a halter to pretty strong. Taping helps the nosebands, also
adjust it properly on their nose. But I sure wouldn't get anything less
than some sort of STIFF noseband, or you'll have about the same amount of
control as riding in a halter!<�/FONT><�/DIV>
