Not to be picky, but since I see this word pass by on ridecamp from time
to time, it finally seems like the right time for some clarification. 
Chow is the name of a breed of hairy, sometimes nippy, dogs.  Chow is
also used as a term for food, or grub(but not as in grub worms...let's
not go there).  However, if you are meaning to say "hello" or "Good
bye", the word would be "Ciao".
