Are they truly cow-hocked, or do they just toe out? I have heard that
toeing out is not necessarily a bad thing, in fact it's fairly common, and
shouldn't preclude a horse from competing and doing well in endurance.
My little mare toes out and has been doing limited distance very
sucessfully for over 6 years. She's never lame, and doesn't interfere at all.
