I think Drin was being a bit tongue-in-cheek. I also lived in Montana for
a while and loved it. I moved to Washington 16 years ago and, altho it
rains a bit, it doesn't stop our riding very much...and we make up for it
in the summer (and have a covered arena for the icky winter days.) I
wouldn't live anywhere else! I *love* the cooler weather but really hate
hassling with the snow -- for *that* I'll drive an hour and a half to the
ski hill for an alternative choice of body abuse! ;-) I really hate
driving in it even tho I have my Black Belt in winter driving from many
years in Minnesota. Besides, we have some of the greatest riding areas
with gorgeous scenery...along with great restaurants, theater, boating, etc.
And as I recall, the person who originated the post was from Washington
(only from the really wet part of the wet side) so hot and sunny may be
more her cup of tea! ;-) I don't like hot and sunny...cool and cloudy is
fine by me! ;-)
