More Slypner
Thanks to all with input into my Slypner question. I'm still not sure if
I'll use them. First of all, I live in Colorado where the mud, rocks
and snow could be a factor? Also, my reason for considering them is
that my mare is coming off what CSU calls a ligament strain in the left
hind. (they couldn't find anything significant from the ultrasound) It
occurred last April and I let the horse have complete rest, then pasture
until now. I'm bringing her back slowly with 30 minute walks and light
troting. I'm even planning a slow LD ride to test the waters. Sooo, If
not Slypner's, does anyone else have input on ideas for shoeing?
Thanks.
Denise.
(who is thrilled to have a snow day from school, and greatful for a
laptop with good batteries now that the power is out again--so much for
rural living!)
