Girth Problems

Heidi,

You might try Stateline Tack's Sympatex girth cover - antibacterial/microbial, 
breathable - and I've been using them for several years with "excellent" 
results. In fact; when I got "really" desperate for another one, but didn't want 
to pay $17.00 plus shipping, I did a little research and discovered that Wal 
Mart carries the same material - comes from Germany - in the form of what they 
call "Big Foot." It looks like a foot, is used as a bath mat, comes in various 
colors, and can be found in the Soft goods section of the store. I cut it 
lengthwise at its widest points, and use velcro tape - w/superglue for an added 
measure - to fasten it to itself. It cost me $10.00 plus the cost of the velcro. 
It's a shorter version of the Stateline Tack model but works "great!"
