My husband uses a neoprene girth a lot, but I do have one horse that appears
to be allergic to it. No matter how clean or how careful, he will break out
in welts along the girth with the neoprene, even though he is just fine with
his woolback and others. Just something to keep in the back of one's
mind--an allergy can occur to just about any substance...
