I was referring to this particular case where the buyer asked for the vet
check, paid for the vet check, and then the horse gets sold out from under
her. I'm familiar with the procedure when everybody is dealing in an honest
and a fair manner, this just seems kind of stinky -- getting stuck with a
pre-purchase vet bill on a horse that somebody else bought (and used that vet
check information on).
