Agreed - but first you have to know that the horse has been altered.
That's the sneaky part - maybe a stallion's been awarded a championship,
is advertised heavily, lots of talk about him. You go to the farm, see
a fancy horse trotted out, look at the pedigree, decide to breed. Then
when the foal has (for instance) a thick throat latch, it's blamed on
the mare or some ancestors in the wood pile, never knowing that that
throat latch came from the stallion. Lif
