The first evidence of Trilby in the AERC year book is in 1992 where she is
posted with 1305 miles. That year she rode 1050 miles on Ring O Fire.

Looking back (and just to start a controversy) The Siskiyou Fifty Miler
offered $5,000 in prize money in 1975. So fellow endurance riders money in
this game is not a new thing. Figure in inflation and every thing else and
see what 5k in ''75 would be in current dollars!

I have a 1976 yearbook and it's really neat.  Of course, there were a lot
less people in the sport then so it's not nearly as big as they are
now.  What made it really interesting is that each horse had it's whole
years worth of ride results posted.  I thought that was really interesting,
to be able to go back and see some of these great horses early on in the
sport and see what rides they did in a season. Who rode them, who they
competed against, etc.  To see all the names of the people, and know that a
lot of them are still riding today.  And Trilby....I couldn't find her name
anywhere?  Does anybody know when she started riding endurance?
