I just want to tell everyone that I am really thankful for this list
(have been a subscriber for almost 3 years) and that just because some
topics are controversial doesn't mean we should not discuss them. I'm
talking about the latest topic of "Accident in Montana". I was on the
phone last night to the ride manager of a local ride and we were
discussing volunteers and "jobs" and the subject came up of the finish
line and needing someone to direct traffic on the dirt road. I asked her
if she heard about the accident in Montana and she hadn't. The fact that
we both now know of this terrible accident and it's consequences she can
take the needed precautions and know how important they can be. The
discussion of this incident has opened many eyes and the sport of
endurance will hopefully be safer for every one.
