Thanks for posting your on-site views of what transpired at the finish line.
It has been my experience that most individuals new to the sport learn from 
the "learned" (whether they truly are or not).  And most juniors learn from 
their sponsors and other "adult" riders present.  If this sport has become 
only about "me and my horse", then the "sharing of the trails" aspect of this 
"sport" has probably run its course.
    God, I hope not!
