RE: RC: Etiquette and conditioning questions
Hi Rachel,
Have you thought about going to the ride in November and just
volunteering?
You can take Sabre with you and give him the experience of a ridecamp and all
the
excitement, but not push it by adding the excitement of actual competition. Some
ride
managers will allow you to drag ride some or all of the distance, if that was
something
you wanted to do. Another bonus to this is you don't have to pay an entry fee,
and if
you volunteer you will normally get a meal for free too! (okay, so I'm
cheap...) I'm
going to be doing this with my 7 year old 'greenie' in October... Great
experience for
the horse, plus you help out by volunteering...
Just a thought...
Michelle and Scirachis ('Do I get a free meal too? I love bologna
and cheese sandwiches!')
and Fyre ('What do you mean I'm not going??? Is this what
retired means?? unretire me!')
