Yup...and a yearling colt of mine already has nice {not!} white streaks in
the saddle area...not from a saddle - he's never seen one much less had one
on, of course...but his pasture buddies and rolling tendencies have given
him little minor scratches here and there along his back...which grow in
WHITE as a ghost once healed, and look just like typical saddle-fit problem
marks. My bay colt doesn't have this problem - his hairs grow in just as
dark as the rest of him, just the chestnut.
