Anecdote

Gotta tell an anecdote.  Just walked thru the room where my 9 year old
daughter has a friend for a sleep over.  She was describing one of her
friend's moms who she thinks is beautiful.  The conversation went like
this:

"And the first time she came in Lance didn't know who she was and he said
to Megan, That's your MOM?" (because she's BEAUTIFUL!"  

Then she noticed I was walking thru the room and could hear her talking
about her friend's beautiful mom, and she hesitated and said, "But MY
mom's TOUGHER!"  

Ha, Ha.
